Back to work

It's Monday today. Most of us are back to work after a long week of holidays. Hari Raya Aidilfitri actually.

I started my new job this month, and it was definitely a nice time going into a festive break after a few days of work. :P

Had a meeting with the Executive Director of the College last week; there are definitely many tasks ahead. Going into this job and work with a different perspective. Gonna make it last.

But right now, I am feeling sleepy. Late night out catching up with some friends, after morning kayaking session without good rest in the afternoon.

Did a quickie yoga session this morning; sun salutations and some other asanas. I MUST read up on more of the asanas because sometimes I am lost on the mat for my next pose. Currently doing poses on what I can recall from classes.

And then waking up here and there to check the scores of Euro 2016 finals; France vs Portugal. Surprising turn of events; injuries, flying moth on the field, etc. Really thought France would win on home soil.

Anyway, I'm still sleepy and this coffee I'm having now is not doing anything for me.

Cheers.

Angels under scrutiny

Another positive review today on #angelsinamericakl I'm not highlighting this article because I've just attended the performance recently but to note a little about #society

We do live in a society that is often under scrutiny. Details are probed, examined, and investigated, because they think there is a secret to be found. Most times the researcher becomes disappointed because there is no secret after all. Sometimes people may get under our skins which at the time may incite anger but when reflected on, we may realize it's all part of the fight or flight response. What is not acceptable is when confronted, conceding has never been considered. Accept that Everyone makes mistakes.

Louis is a character I would love to hate for his intellectual self brings upon much sadness in his life. Has Prior forgiven him?

Cheers.

Motivation wavering.

Motivation is all about knowing how to bounce back after hitting a low. When you find that nothing you try is keeping you motivated, it may be time to investigate a new path... In career, in relationships, in Life.

Sometimes all it takes is just opening ourselves up to possibilities that may seem a bit scary at first, but will be alright once we know them.

Get up, get dressed, take a step forward and embrace the world.

Cheers.

Talk Nerdy to Me!

Bazinga! Here come's another episode of the lovable Dr Sheldon Cooper played by Jim Parson on The Big Bang Theory.

Can't believe this is the ninth year I'm following this series. I continue to be surprised each week with the script and characters portrayed so well for the show. Love them!

Cheers.
